One of the most common frustrations our clients share is selling via E-mail marketing.

Many of them keep offering the same products and services to the same e-mail list – over and over…with diminishing results.

The key is to continuously build your list and consistently add new prospects, so that every time you launch a new product or announce a special offer, you are reaping the rewards.

Use the following techniques to help build your list:

Facebook: The new timeline for business pages include customizable cover images and tabs. Utilize these by offering a free subscription to our IFO (Initial Free Offer).

IFO: Speaking of the IFO…offering a free CD, DVD, E-Zine, Report, E-Book or Introductory Webinar via your website is a great way to authentically build your list. With the proper user opt-in sequence in place, and the ability to set up auto-responders via your e-mail marketing program, the IFO is a great list building tool that works for itself.

Speaking Engagements & Trade Shows: Being invited to speak, or participating in a trade show, is only half the battle when it comes to securing new clients. Follow-up is critical. If you are speaking or exhibiting, bring follow-up forms with you. This form allows you to capture the contact information of prospective clients and gives them the ability to indicate their level of interest in your business’ services. Depending on a prospect’s needs, your team can follow up in a timely, and appropriate, manner.
